Inhalt des Moduls

Ein Gefühl für die normale Entwicklung des kindlichen Skeletts zu entwickeln ist nicht ganz einfach. In diesem Modul lernen Sie die Bandbreite des Normalen in alle Altersgruppen erkennen und beobachten die Entwicklung des Kindes vom Neugeborenen bis zum Jugendlichen anhand des konventionellen Skelettröntgens. Die wesentlichen radiologischen Charakteristika der Entwicklungsschritte werden aufgezeigt.

Aus der Vielzahl der Bilder soll sich aus der Summe der Ähnlichkeiten ein virtueller Eindruck des Normalen in der Vorstellungskraft des Lernenden ergeben. Das Zurückgreifen von pathologischen Fällen auf alters- und situationsadäquate Normalbefunde soll helfen, die Charakteristika des Pathologischen herauszuarbeiten. Anhand der Schemazeichnungen kann man sich ein ungefähres Bild vom Auftreten der Knochenkene machen. Auch sie gelten natürlich nicht strikt sondern nur als Leitfaden.

Lernziele

  1. Nachvollziehen der Entwicklungsschritte des kindlichen Skelettes anhand der radiologischen Manifestationen.
  2. Erkennen und grobes entwicklungsmässiges Einordnen einen Röntgenbefundes zu Altergruppen ohne Kenntnis des chronologischen Alters.
  3. Einsicht in die Vielfalt und die Spielarten des Normalen und Pathologischen.
  4. Erkennen eines normalen Befundes in Abhängigkeit des Alters der kleinen und größeren Patienten.
  5. Ziehen von Quervergleichen innerhalb des Normalen, innerhalb des Pathologischen und zwischen den beiden Gruppen.

Content of this module

To get the right feeling for the normal development of the child skeleton is not that easy. In this module you'll learn the spectrum of the "normal" in all age groups, from the newborn to young adult by X-ray exposures. Essential radiological characteristics are shown.

The aim of this collection is to get a virtual all over impression of the normal. While coming back from pathologic cases to normal findings you should be able work out the pathology more easily. By access to characteristic and systematic drawings you should be able to assign bone nuclei to a certain age approximately. Those drawings are meant as a guideline.

Learning objectives

  1. To get familiar with developmental steps of the child skeleton by radiologic manifestations.
  2. To assess and classify age related an exposure without the knowledge of the chronologic age.
  3. Insight in to the diversity of normal and pathological.
  4. To assess a normal finding exposure in correlation to young and old patients.
  5. To compare between normal findings themselves, pathological findings themselves and between those two groups.
